Since this crosses over a few threads, let's keep this one in one place, as I suspect it won't just stop when Taco Donnie walks away. Though it would be nice if I'm wrong and this is a very short thread.
On 19 August 1953, Prime Minister of Iran Mohammad Mosaddegh was overthrown in a coup d'état that strengthened the rule of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the shah of Iran. It was instigated by the United Kingdom (MI6), under the name Operation Boot[5][6][7][8] and the United States (CIA), under the name TP-AJAX Project[9] or Operation Ajax. A key motive was to protect British oil interests in Iran after Mosaddegh nationalized the country's oil industry.
During the Iran–Iraq War (1980–1988), Iraq engaged in chemical warfare against Iran on multiple occasions, including more than 30 targeted attacks on Iranian civilians. Iran employed its own chemical warfare against Iraq on a few occasions during the war as well.[1] Iraq's attacks represented the third deadliest use of chemical weapons in history, following The Holocaust and chemical warfare in World War I. Originally using mustard gas alone, in 1984 Iraq initiated the first verified combat use of nerve agents in history, beginning with tabun before moving to sarin.[2]
...
Though the use of chemical weapons in international armed conflict was banned under the Geneva Protocol, much of the international community remained indifferent to the attacks; Iraq's military campaign in Iran was supported by the United States and the Soviet Union, both of whom had sought to contain Iranian influence after the Islamic Revolution of 1979
so far they (USA) are admitting 4 dead American Service personnel and "several" jets (F15s?) downed by friendly fire over Kuwait, according to BBC.

Has Trump just started a world war?
