A dancer from Strictly now accused of rape. Obviously still “just” an allegation but it feels like the show is on its last legs. It’s been family viewing in our house since it started and about the only thing we all sit together to watch but it feels like it’s going downhill fast and I’ve struggled to get interested this year.

They haven’t said when this was alleged to have happened. He was arrested last month but could have happened any time in the last 20 years.

Possibly the straw that broke the camel's back or they see where things are heading. The BBC have apparently put replacing them on hold. It also seems like this latest case is almost identical to the one in August so maybe a second allegation against the same person following that. Both seem to also involve non-consensual images.

Too much competition these days. Most young people don't watch mainstream TV, they mostly stream stuff. I do think the BBC will end up taking advertising as they don't have the budget to compete with Netfix or Apple.
Apart from the Bob and Paul fishing show I can't think of a BBC show I've watched this week.
