They should be supplied to the appropriate House committee who'll filter for relevance, national security and any interference with police investigation

Files in the 3rd category to be withheld until either made public in court or until the investigation finishes

And so it came to pass

Interesting even if you don't like the personalities (and I'm assuming neither Mogg and Starkey will get a lot of love here).

In next week's episode of Between Two Ferns, David Ike will be chatting with Liz Truss.

Yes very droll. I mean, apart from the fact that Rees Mogg studied history at Oxford, is a former Leader of the House of Commons, Lord President of the Council, and a former Secretary of State, he's exactly like the former sports presenter who went a bit mental, started wearing turquoise shell suits and writing books about the Royal Family being lizards, so feel free to glibly dismiss his opinion without having watched the discussion.

Fair. He has far more in common with Liz Truss.

What about David Starkey?

He was (so far as I can make out) a fairly well respected historian who fell out of favour after making some ill judged comments on race. it doesn't stop him being a good historian and authority on the constitution though.

Did he out-group lizards? I bet he did.
