Yeah, I guess so. Not that it's an excuse, but if you try and find a party which isn't I suspect you'll be looking for a long, long time.
True. But the SNP has had a long long time to move the needle. Voting for them again, at least as a majoring is to think the same thinking that caused the problem will help to fix it.

My understanding is that the elections in Scotland could be "interesting". The SNP have screwed thing up, Labour should have walked in but what's happening in Westminster is sinking that, Conservatives will forever be unpopular in a large amount of areas, Reform policies are fairly anti-Scotland, Liberals and Greens (much like rUK) will likely gain.
I can see it being wide ranging coalitions on both sides. Which coalition gets the majority is anyone's guess.

I think it's time for an unlikely coalition between Reform and The Greens. Hell, let's have that in England too.

I don't see how that could possibly go wrong? Although if everything balances out like I imagine it would have to, in order to get anything done fans of both parties would bemoan their centrist policy betrayal.

SNP minority, SNP-Lib or SNP-Lib-Lab.

First and third would not have an indyref mandate, but for then second I would be worried the Libs are so spineless they'd agree to that as a govt policy.

That is the down side of coalition.
No one gets what they voted for.

That's a bit like saying if both sides in a war use nuclear arms, everything will balance out. It would be carnage.

To be fair, the Greens aren't out to destroy everything, unlike Reform, their brand of populism veering towards promising nice fluffy things; conversely Reform wraps up its racism with things that appeal to nostalgia, but are in reality just an excuse to break everything progressive.
