Tempting to put something really rude in a foreign language and provide a non-rude translation.

I didn't need a translation because it wasn't German.

It has to be a “family friendly” joke.

Plus the interpretation of the new online roolz legislation. I mean, cycle forums are a hotbed of dissent, terrorism, communism and militancy. Spandex is the best way to present a front of apparent sensibility.

They don't like the Jokes thread on the main site do they? Fúck me!!!

It's why this is my default side of the forum... I have to consciously police my language and SOH over there, and my slightly subversive nature means I tend to push gently against the limits when I feel that the policing is heavy-handed. I wouldn't mind quite so much if a mod sent a PM and asked, but the summary deletions and ban sticks can be heavy-handed if no offence was intended.

Still, it's their site, and it's up to them to decide how to run it, and at least Anything Goes on this side.

I posted to ask for some clarity on the rules about when something becomes political. In the pro racing section this seemed quite clear, but in a lot of the others it didn't. My post was deleted. So I gave up and only post here and pro race.

Thou shalt not question the referees' decisions. Red card for subversion.

Posted a thread in mothers titled:: 'Why not ski down Everest for shittz and giggles' now edited to just Why not ski down Everest for a giggle.

It took them nearly 12 hours and one can only assume that they were busy ironing underwear and choosing the most contemporary fragrance plug in air freshener* whilst thinking about the pressing need to renew their Readers digest subscription.

*Versailles in springtime apparently.
