I'm totally baffled by this! Just FYI.

To be fair, now I have read it back - so am I!
 
It's amazing how much arguments they come up with, while the real evidence is right under their nose, off course weapon laws work, if a total ban is impossible to implement only very strict rules permits etc would already help a lot, as 90% of these school shooters would fall in a high risk category and therefore will have been refused an weapon if rules where in place and applied.

On a blog I hardly ever look at I recently found a good summary of the arguments about gun control from a European perspective, including but not limited to a religious one. Regarding the latter I don't agree with all Wilson had to say, but then these things are the subject of legitimate debate:
