But that's the thing - I think the public is, er, warming to net zero as they see the planet burn, so Badenoch isn't even winning votes with it. Well, maybe she is, from the nutters, but losing more of those who can see what's going on.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic.
Everyone should be sarcastic about and to Badenoch.

It may also have something to do with the new owner of the Telegraph.

Well, they did get almost as many votes as Restore.

Labour seem to have taken their increase since the local elections equally from Reform and the Greens.

True, though on a low turnout in a by-election, I'd not read too much into anything, even if I do think it's very funny that the Tories are just one of the minor players there... add them, Reform and Restore all together and you still only get to 40%... doesn't suggest much enthusiasm.

I suspect 'One Nation' Toryism may well have gone the way of Python's parrot!

A former neo-Nazi activist with convictions including for harassing a Jewish MP has been selected as a Conservative candidate for a local election in Somerset.

Well so long as he’s anti-net zero and ECHR then I’m sure he’ll fit in.
