Good grief. What sort of parent publily announces the death of a child who is still alive. what does that say about what a damaged person Musk (Elon) is.

I have an uncle who was in a situation where for many years he and his daughter were having no contact, everything broken off. No contact even with her child (his grandchild), nothing. Without taking sides it was his actions that caused the split. Yet despite that he did have great love for his daughter.

Parents might disagree with the path their child takes but to be declaring them dead ... what a disgusting person.

He's decrying the death of his son to trans ideology

Having been through it, he has become vehemently opposed

Which bit

He lost his son to 'trans ideology' ?! Holy moly. The death of his child being used for political purchase?
That's obscene.
Errol (Elon Musks own father stated):
During his appearance on the South African podcast Wide Awake, Errol Musk said that the tech mogul's first kid with Wilson died due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and that his father did not spend much time with him and he was mostly under the care of nannies. “The first child was too much with nannies and died in the care of a nanny,” Errol stated.

Claiming that Musk is “going to shoot” him after hearing him, Errol remarked that his son hired several nannies since he was too rich. “He had five children with the same woman - five sons all brought up, each one had its own nanny. You following me?”

It's that kind of psychopathy that means he won't have any qualms about taking actions that will lead to the deaths of the old, the infirm and the poor, as they are dead to him anyway, and are just a drain on corporate profits.

Well the UK government is legislating assisted suicide

You or I cannot claim the moral high ground on what E Musk family arrangements.

We know that E Musk is on the autistic spectrum, he comes across slightly awkward in social interaction. That will almost have be the same for parenting interactions.

Extremely successful people have a focussed path and this and does affect their social family connections.

He seems a caring dad, especially with the son he takes it to the Whitehouse. I must admit, I find it a little concerning he exposes his son to the public gaze, I wouldn't, but that's me.

My daughter is autistic. She often lacks empathy.
Musk's child died of SIDS.

You are now on ignore. Goodbye.

It was a metaphor, like 'dead naming' is. This is Humpty Dumpty grasping at straws stuff. I don't think you can give a high number of children the individual attention they deserve if you have a full on job and don't live with their mother but let's not pretend there aren't lots of single parent families with absent dads, deliberately absent or otherwise.

There's plenty of stuff to moan about re Musk without speculating about his relationship with his kids. You could do the same for Biden and it would be just as irrelevant.

I agree but also it was (Elon) Musk who started introducing that relationship into public prominence eg declaring the "death" of one of his children that it seems is still alive.
