What’s going to happen to the old NACA content? Will current threads be copied across for continuation or is this totally year zero?

Would be nice to copy across at least the active ones, say anything with a post in the last month. Maybe cherry pick a few others, like the two Trans threads as they proved very informative and would perhaps stop repetition.

Year zero. CC content will be left to run for a while, then locked (as per my announcement).

However, since this is a separate site and the content is down to you, the membership, you might want to recreate some of the threads or even create multiple forums for different subject area. Up to you folks.

It may be day zero as some posts made contain links to outside of NACA.

If this site wants to function with more freedom, then the request that we don't carry anything over/back to cyclechat has to be kept. If for no other reason than to prove it can be done.

It might be, but can't be done due to the database links between forums, threads and user IDs - which are different on this site.

@Shaun Has the old content been completely removed? I thought it was going to be locked but still viewable and searchable.

I had a lot of references in various threads that took a while to pull together. It would be good to still have access to them as a source for similar topics on the new forum.
