Yes, this has been commented on by a lot of people. Unless the prosecutor knows some subtlety that we don't, I'd say she's been let off the hook a bit there.
Still, minimum sentence is apparently 1 year DSQ. Perhaps she'll blog about her car-free experience?

My favourite one was the Lamborgini guy. Had his car impounded as not insured . Drove up in a lamborgini to retrieve the first only to have that one impounded as well for the same reasons

Another thing that puzzles me is that the court was shown 'heavily bleeped' footage of the incident as if magistrates are some delicate flowers who have to be protected from bad language. Who did the bleeping and what else on the footage did they alter? I'd like our courts to make important decisions based as much as they can on the uncensored truth. I'm pretty sure our criminal justice system can handle a few naughty words.
