He openly said he had PTSD but had recovered since. He hasn't tries to cover up his sins all through the campaign.
Given that at the core of every hate group, there is a veteran (and they are mostly comprised of vets), this is refreshing.
He packs punch and has a deep voice where other Dems (Schumer, Jeffries?!) are these mealy mouthed lightweights who express their concerns in a way that doesn't resonate.
Listen to his speech and make up your own mind. There's a bit of slightly cringy stuff in the beginning and it smacks of someone who thinks they are in a presidential election but it doesn't lack any impact:

Platner's withdrawn after an(other?) allegation of rape.

Mmm. Ceasefire is over. They are scum. Doesn't want to deal with them any more.

So what are you going to do Donald? Send the ships home and employ the traditional free market step of fixing domestic oil prices at the state level?

Surely at this point in time, any announcement of a ceasefire should be prefaced with the word "temporary"?

It is starting to feel like the resolution will be gulf states quietly closing some US bases, building pipelines and other infrastructure to transport goods to bypass the straight entirely.

i.e. supply chains will readjust faster than Trump can get any resolution. Kind of has happened with Ukraine and gas supplies I suppose.

Oh no.
Pity rape doesn't exclude you from being POTUS.

Just in case you need convincing (I suspect that you don't now)

Graham Platner is no Donald Trump, but they are both object lessons in what happens when people choose to ignore an avalanche of red flags simply because someone is on the right team.

Democrats do not need to settle for this sort of thing, do not need their own Donald Trump to win. Real credibility, real authenticity, real insurgency, real people-powered campaigns — these things are all within our grasp, but not via the incredibly flawed vessel of Graham Platner. Thank goodness.
