Harris rallies buses were seen at many events
Yup. And the owner of the bus fleet confirmed that:-
Brett Baldeck, Communications Manager at Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), said in an email to Reuters that the buses, a contingency fleet that is decommissioned and available to use to support for requests from Emergency Management, were used as a security barrier.

“This is standard protocol to pre-position these buses when requested. CATS also provided this same support to Former President Trump’s rally earlier this summer. These vehicles did not transport individuals during either event,” Baldeck said.
In a Sept. 12 X post, opens new tab, a reporter for WSOC-TV shared an aerial image from the outlet’s Chopper 9 footage showing buses used at a Trump rally and clarified that the buses were not transporting people at Harris' rally.
“They are in place as a security measure. Former President Donald Trump had them in place as well,” the post states.

If the Trump officials can ride this one out, then anything goes. They lied to the committee yesterday, compounding the crime of sharing military operation discussions on Signal with messages that were set fort deletion in four days. One of their many missteps was to slander the journalist and The Atlantic, as they've now released some of the chat they'd held back that shows the Trump officials were lying to Congress.

OTOH, if they can ride this one out, Congress has no constitutional function any more.

Absolutely.

They have no shame in this. I happened to watch some of Newsnight; Vic Derbyshire interviewed this Trump ex-croney https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K._T._McFarland about Signalgate

KT saw no wrong-doing. Went straight on the offensive; this incident just shows how great Trump's cabinet are at getting stuff done, due to effective use of message groups. She even deflected Qs on Trumps hypocrisy about Hilary using a secure email server ("she should be arrested" said Trump, at the time IIRC), turning it into an example of Trump's generous forgiving nature!

I think part of the scheme is to do so much blatantly illegal stuff - against both the Constitution and specific laws - that the legal apparatus (even if it survives Trump intact) can't keep up, so that Team Maga-Trump can do anything that they want without worrying about any pesky laws at all.

For some reason the line "We are currently clear on OPSEC" (operational security) is particularly attractive, given the lies those in the group told yesterday.

In normal times. yesterday's testimonies would have led to mass resignations or sackings today. They are up to their necks in it.

I'd forgotten that this little quote, much bandied about recently, was from Watergate. In comparison with the current rabble, it makes Nixon look like someone who nicked a hotel towel for a keepsake.

I saw that and it was unbelievable. But then same "good grief" happens every time they interview a Tump cheer leader, you wonder if you're in the same Universe as these US <can't think of adjective>. I keep wondering "why, what's in it for them?". I can't believe they can't see what fools they are making of themselves, can't see the blatant lies and untruth so why are they debasing themselves so badly?

The tangerine shootgibbion aims to eliminate non-existent election fraud by ensuring that all votes are for him.

What's the issue, speedier voting by using paper ballot, voter ID and probably a public holiday on voting day.

Indonesia can do it for 190 million population in 24 hours, why can't USA?
