And other than apologising, are they doing anything about it?

Presumably the acid test will be the mid-terms. If there is any sanity left in the US a lot of republican senators should be losing their seats

It depends very much on how squeaky clean those elections are, given that Republican states are doing everything they can to disenfranchise people who are less likely to vote Republican. There's little doubt in my mind that the mass deportations are for the same ends: re-establishing a white ''Christian" majority in perpetuity.

Oh you mean, stop suitcases voting at 2am, duplicate votes, illegal immigrants votes, dodgy mail in votes, very dubious electronic voting machines.

Apart from that

I suppose the debunked voter fraud claims aren't the most damaging thing Trump likes to bang on about, but they're certainly among the most tedious.

Funny how they keep finding more evidence of duplicated voter records, shady voter documents arriving in the early hours. Areas where a sudden spike of votes registered 100% for biden, not one vote for Trump, statistically improbable

Extensive research reveals that fraud is very rare. Yet repeated, false allegations of fraud can make it harder for millions of eligible Americans to participate in elections.

Exactly.

Plus, a follow on term for Trump would have been a disaster for him... He needed those four years to get his Project 2025 goons in, or rather they needed time to get themselves together and have him as their puppet.

Plus he's benefited from Biden actually doing some good stuff on the economy in the interim.

Still think the 'assassination attempt' was staged... I know it's verging towards conspiracy theory, but everything about it was just too convenient... blood but no real injury, gunman dead so unable to testify.

I’m similarly cynical but there was the dead audience member which takes some explaining

I'm sure I could come up with a plausible conspiracy theory for that... necessary collateral to make it look legit, something along those lines.

Luck, or lack thereof, depending how you look at it; and very nimble media operation taking advantage of the circumstances. No need for conspiracies.
