One canard that's been floated by at least one high ranking republican is that Trump remained involved with Epstein as an FBI informant. That's the kind of rubbish MAGAts lap up, and unfortunately likely to fly with them.

I wouldn't get my hopes up that Trump will suffer any harm for his association with Epstein.

It doesn’t really work as an argument though, as Trump is denying he had any knowledge, whilst also claiming to be an informant.

He can’t have it both ways.

More thank likely correct, I guess they have had enough opportunities to turn against Trump by now and have failed to take any of them.

I'm quite sure that Epstein had great skill in pulling powerful people into his circle. Anyone implicated in anything illegal or immoral as a result deserves everything coming to them.
The aspect I worry about on this is powerful people seem to just respond with "fake news" which seems widely accepted as defence in public opinion in the US. For an implicated member of the powerful elite to get everything coming to them would mean a victim or support group pursuing a private prosecution and that would be a David vs Goliath (the implicated elite having vast resources, legal teams, etc.). Can't see Gov. under Trump wanting any of his peers to be pursued and he certainly doesn't want any Epstein related issues to get more column inches/public prominence.

We are talking about people that believe that there are 5G chips embedded in COVID vaccines. The Trump informant story is perfectly plausible in their reality.

There ought to be an 'Occam's Beard', by which the most ridiculous hairy growth of nonsense is the explanation most likely to be believed, because the simplest explanation contradicts their belief

Is anyone surprised by the revelation that Mandelson is a slimy so and so?

And to add to the evidence, MSNBC host Laurence O'Donnell, who has been attacked numerous times by Trump, also has a copy of the "Donald" signature.
Apparently the discredited Trump Foundation sent O'Donnell a cheque for a charity supported by him. O'Donnel returned the cheque but retained a copy of both the cheque and the accompanying note from Trump.

Side note: I'd like to like O'Donnell, but I find his stuff too scripted and 'acted', however much I might agree with the sentiment behind it.

It’s a 50/50 bet at the moment as to whether Trump even allows the mid terms to proceed.
He is trying to manufacture a civil war.

The cost of putting the national guard on the streets of LA cost just $1m per day!?
The DOJ will run out of money. It's unsustainable.

Tarrifs will pay for it, surely?

Don't call me surely.

Joking aside, when Murdoch turns, he never turns back.
I wonder if he has more kompromat on Trump and he'll drip feed his audience. It makes better sales sense. I mean, that's all that matters to Murdoch (plus power).
