This was an attack on peaceful protesters by ICE. Why do you think ICE are all wearing gas masks, and the protestors are not? Do you *really* think that protestors would be chucking incendiaries and tear gas at fully armed and protected ICE officers without wearing any protection themselves.

I found a news reference - after the No Kings protest, many people in Portland continued protesting. ICE responded by tear gassing them etc.

I found one from 1 September. About 100 people. So about as significant as a closing time outside any easy Glasgow pub most Saturdays.

He is not stupid at all. If anyone was to read his posts over on CC, you will see they are completely normal and sensible comments across a range of topics. I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt on here that perhaps he did just have 'fringe' beliefs and truly believe in this stuff (as much as I have disdain for it). However, given the context of his 'normal' posting I do think it is just basic trolling for a rise on here.
