Civil war is more likely than Congress stepping up to do it’s job.

No speculation about the other aspects, clear video of him confronting federal agents, standing in the road impeding their job. He was pepper sprayed, yet re engaged in tussle.

A little bit of background to his behaviour. His parents asked him not to engage with federal agents. His family said he owned a gun and had a license, but never saw him carry it.

Funny how he suddenly decided this protest was the day to go tooled up.

Or he was proactively going to shoot federal agents, but was stopped before he unloaded two magazines of bullets.

I know it feels good, but it is pointless trying to engage with the death camp guard wannabe.

This line isn't going to hold.

It's bizarre from a UK perspective but you may as well replace 'peaceful protest' with 'grocery store' or 'football game'

The US answer is ... because he's a US citizen and the constitution protects his right to do so

The NRA have already dismissed this argument. MAGA need to come up with something else

I'd suggest 'he was no saint' will be deployed

It’s quite something to be deemed too trigger happy by the NRA!

The Democrats are moving to block funding for the DHS.
Lead by Senator Mark Warner

I'll believe that when it happens. Schumer will still be trying to 'work across the aisle', while the Republicans are seeing how long a knife they need to reach across it.
