Remember the much lauded trade deal 10 days ago? Has it been finalised or ratified yet?
No? Thought as much. Simply an exercise in PR.

Dropped down to the new (high) standard rate.
There was a lot of caveats, timelines, and things not yet discussed far less agreed. This is trade on the fly, not formalised deals.
Even Maddleson intyerviewed on TV was saying it's more of a framework for futute negotiations than a deal itself.

Yet Starmer happily participates enthusiastically with the spin & PR. We know a lot about the nature of Trump but now Starmer is turning out to be similarly feeding us all meaningless PR & spin.

The caption isn't. The people watching are clearly thinking "how long till this farkwit shuts up?"

Interesting few weeks starting for US that could have big impacts.

When Trump's tariffs on China started cargo boats stopped sailing from China for the US whilst vessels in transit continued. Takes time for vessels to travel from China to US and only now are the stream of arrivals stopping, some ports all but at a standstill (eg Seattle early May had zero container ships), others significantly reduced traffic.

Then, as containers are processed dock workers will laid off which will ripple on to road transport layoffs.

Resolve the crisis and boats might start leaving China again but they will take time to get to the US. So US not yet really seem the impacts of Trump's tariffs but they might start to notice in the coming weeks (as shelves start to empty).

Oh dear, the orange rapist fails to get his "big beautiful budget" through the House Budget Committee after several Republicans turned against the mob leader. A budget which the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, estimates could add $5.2 trillion to the national debt.
Where is Der Auto Fuhrer when you need him? ;)

Perhaps, for once, we are leading the USA, we had all that with Blair and Campbell, way before Trump and Starmer

Wonder how today's chat is going on?
I predict Putin will say something to pause DT, who will claim the win. Nothing will materially change.
