Looks like the bromance is over. It never really felt like it was anything other than a total sham to be honest, and I guess two narcissistic egotists in a relationship was never going to work out.

Normally you'd expect to feel some kind of sympathy for the perceived "wronged" party in a breakup, but not so much here.

D'ya think Musk will get a refund? Perhaps he'll flip and support... Democrats... dan dan daaaa!

It will be amusing if Musk's foray into politics does nothing more than ruin his businesses. I can already see Trump cancelling any contracts Musk has been awarded and announcing 1 billion % tariffs on Tesla.

As per many comments: what's the point in negotiating on a Monday, when Trump will change his mind on Tuesday.

It's exactly like Mary Trump on BBC Newsnight last week was saying. To make progress with Trump you need to stand-up to him. Be obsequious, flattering his ego and being subserviant (like Starmer is doing), you'll get something short term but he'll be back for more, and more, and more because he knows you are a weak push-over.

haha yes! He's already screwed his sales of Teslas (by forgetting that plenty of Democrats and liberals buy EVs), so if Trump now screws over his other businesses, that would be delicous 😋

Quick fact check and underlying issues with Avian flu which (unsurprisingly) is not been addressed by the 'malicious incompetents'.

Independent on US Eggprices

"The average price of one dozen eggs has continued to drop since an initial decrease in April, down to $2.52 per dozen, on average nationally, which is about 20 cents lower than their price during June 2024.

The decrease comes after eggs spiked to their highest price in recent history. The cost of one dozen Grade A eggs had reached an all-time average high of $6.22 in March after months of steep price rises, surpassing the previous record set in January 2023.

The price decrease comes after one-third of Americans stopped buying eggs — increasing supply — and a lull in new bird flu cases in the spring. President Donald Trump’s administration also began importing eggs from Turkey and Brazil to help increase the U.S. supply and bring down prices, according to Reuters."

Wow, the price reduction is actually due to an excess supply as Usanians are stopping buying eggs altogether.
