Not knee-jerk, and not that left in all aspects of politics or life. I am a bit more open-minded than that.

There's only really one poster on here who unthinkingly posts utter garbage. There's a lot of stuff I disagree with from others, but it's generally thought out and backed up.

What is it with comedians thinking they can mock those in power with impunity?

Even the MAGA's are not happy about Kimmels gagging order.

This is what Tucket Carlson had to say:

"You hope, that a year from now, the turmoil we're seeing in the aftermath of his murder [Kirk] won't be leveraged to bring hate speech laws to this country. And trust me, if it is, if that does happen, there is never a more justified moment for civil disobedience. than that ever. And there never will be. Because if they can tell you what to say, they can tell you what to think. There is nothing they can't do to you because they don't consider you human. They don't believe you have a soul."

Quite remarkable really. I guess that freedom of speech is at the heart of MAGA - even if it is used for nefarious words. But lets not forget that Trump was going to bring back free speech. Maybe they feel betrayed (again).

Even (contrary to what I said previously), the Daily Heil is critical of what happened to Kimmel.

I doubt it is just me who thought he doesn't even know who those people are, far less read them.

He said they were great people like he was a well read scholar. I doubt he could read cat in the hat without error and would probably come to the conclusion that Sam was a dangerous leftie trying to force a diet on an oppressed individual. Don't forget he stopped the war between Armenia and Aberbaijan.

He struggled to read the prepared speech so I agree about Cat In The Hat.

Trump described Sadiq Khan as "among the worst mayors in the world"
He then, only, cites Chicago to reinforce his argument.
Quelle surprise, the current incumbent, Brandon Johnson, is a democrat.
The Mango Mussolini then goes on to accuse Sadiq of being a "disaster" on immigration.
Er, what involvement does the London's mayor have on national policy?
These AF1 'doorway' interviews he conducts are really annoying.

No it's not, it popular for the very reason the majority of the country want it.

Hence Reforms policies are popular, and are why they are leading in the polls, compared to Labour and the Tories

The populist vote, regardless of political side, is dangerous.

Populists just offer simple solutions to complex issues and we've seen how well that's worked. It hasn't, if you're wondering.
