It would be interesting to see who is in charge of the Holocaust Museum. I think that might answer why they take a different POV.

Well, here's the answer. Can't sling any mud at them on this basis. Though the second and third snips provide some extra context.

Then hop on my rollers.

That's an insult I've not heard before. I think I might use it in future.

Struck me this morning that when Trǔmp was showing more interest in Iran (and badly letting down the protestors) he wasn't looking to attack the ruling mullahs but rather learning from them for domestic use.

I think it very unlikely that many senior US generals are staunch Trumpists. Most of them have educations 'n that.

Trump has systematically dissed and condescended the military. He has totally dishonoured the veterans and families of veterans globally - all 42 Nations that provided support to the US, the only country to have triggered article 5 and requested assistance from NATO. Those military personnel within the US army have most probably internalised his antipathy and that is now indelible.
He avoided the draft on 5 occasions. He's installed an alcoholic Fox News Reader who attempted (in vain) to cajole the military into loyalty to the administration.
Meanwhile, the CIA in the background have been assisting Ukraine on intelligence (and most probably), continued communication with other long term partners.
Let's not forget Trumps attempt at a military parade (akin to proper dictatorships) to honour himself.

He is so wrapped up in his own self importance, narcissism and compulsive impetuosity, he is incapable of understanding and reflecting on his words and actions such is his level of arrogant stupidity and personal ambition inherent in him at the cost of others. Some say, he's semi-literate. He has no regard for loyalty, history or sacrifice, None. De nada. Diddley squat. This is where he trips over and falls flat on his face the f*cking ugly b@stard. The man is a fetid, felonious, perverted, corrupt c*nt to the core. If you sliced him in half he would be the @rsehole stick of Blackpool rock. One of the worst examples of humanity. The electric chair would be a fitting end and I am not a proponent of capital punishment such is the anger he stirs in me. Such as his careless disregard for people and his acute lack of morality.

Soz. Rant over.
I do hope you are both right. History, though, is unfortunately not on our side.

Further info in ICE going to Italy for the Winter Olympics. The Italians are understandably not happy.
I think there will be further mileage in this.

Other federal security agencies go to these events. It's quite normal.
I think it's a stupid move to take ICE along because it may provide an opportunity for people to voice their animosity towards ICE and the Trump administration - of which there already has been lots protest world wide. It might be difficult for Fox News cameras to avoid. It might make them say "why are they so anti US...".

It provocative at the very least. I had assumed that the secret service would provide security for the Deputy Dunce and Rubio.
How many legions of ICE agents are they aiming to send, I wonder?
I just hope they are a bit more experienced than the: “Watch this video then go out and shoot someone.” troops.
