As with all things Donnie, it will be simple. “Prove” that seat was stolen, move on to the next one, declare he won the 2020 election.
Then rig the mid terms. No, I don’t know how it will be done but his team will be working on it.

I would like people to start being a bit more pragmatic and less hysterical. How does his 'team' work on it? Please tell me how an incompetent group of individuals are going to succeed? The monkeys are in charge of the zoo.(that's probably a bit harsh on primates tbh).
I am not saying that they would not want to rig them and I am not saying Trump would love to stay on for a 3rd term but what I am saying is that I would like to see more evidence that there is an organised comprehensive strategy. When they start systematically doing things, then I will start to get very concerned but as long as they continue to sporadically do stuff, then Trump and his Project 2025 Gilead have illusions of grandeur.

Take some political theorists, add a few billion $ from some rather oddball autistic tech guys and come up with this all encompassing idea that on paper looks for all the world like a corporate take over of the state and the judiciary but fundamentally lacks any depth of realistic deployment.
They are trying but they really haven't thought it through.

ICE is mud. More Republican voters are in favour of disbanding ICE than are for it. That went well. They are falling over on the sword of their own incompetence. Trump and his 'team' are wreaking havoc but they lack competence.

Hitler wrote Mein Kampf. He was decisive. He was brutally ruthless. He was consistent. He steered the SS ship. He had an idea in his head and a comprehensive strategy. Trump is a moron. A liability. He is the clueless captain of the SS Meander.

Hoping you're right (and there's certainly some evidence you are). They've shown they are good at breaking things, and Project 2025 gives them some blueprint, but yes, they aren't competent, being staffed by mostly useless ar$eholes whose only skill is fluffing Trump's ego at every opportunity.

Already said that I don't know how it will be done.
Time will tell but logic also said they wouldn't re-elect him in 2024. Logic is so last decade.

You don't need to be competent to destroy things.

You don't need to be competent to destroy things.

You are quite right but you need to be competent to carry through an idea as big as Project 2025.
The 3rd Reich was competent and comprehensive.

Philosophically (and I am going to present this idea), what we are witnessing is a degradation of democracy, of economics, of global authority, of global influence. We are seeing the power shift towards big corporations and billionaires. Transaction over democratic process.
The billionaires control a lot of media and to a greater or lesser extent, the narrative. This for me is the tangible concern. The concern is that the damage through incompetence will create a semi-dystopian state especially if there is severe economic decline and social fragmentation. So Project 2025 achieves what it was set out to do by default and no future administration, Democratic or otherwise, can hope to mitigate the damage and reconcile the fault lines.

Perhaps, the America we see developing now is the distillation and manifestation of all that was always wrong with it - the inherent flaw in the idea of the American dream, a population that is obsessive in their introspection and fearful of the alternative reality, that the USA is 'the greatest nation in the world', that they have the greatest democracy when the fact is that it is a two party state and that the American dream relies on a monetary hierarchy of capitalist inequality and exploitation both foreign and domestic. For too long, vested interest has steered democratic process. It is an empire collapsing and all empires collapse due to the flaws of the pillars that it was built on.
Perhaps the end of the cold war heralded the beginning of the age of paranoia without cause (WMD's, North Korea, Iranian Nuclear ambitions, ISIS?) such is the inherent hubris mixed with deep underlying fragility which promotes intangible fear.
It comes with some amount of irony that the capitalist system that the USA was built on is the system that is taking it over.

For a change, I agree with everything you've written here 😉😀
