Actually, if Im being entirely honest, I will say that it was a good example of reportage at times - They just let it speak for itself and you still got the context.
Sometimes less is more... Even if this was a bit bare at times!

I did say it was a bit empty or flat, I wouldn't say it had no redeeming qualities, after all, it looks good visually, but as for the rest... It would have been better if it had been in the first 20 of Donnie's term, not the 20 leading up to it.
I also sometimes suspect people have an axe to grind when it comes to reviews anyway.

I went to see what this 'awful' looked like and it was just a bit vanilla, that's all, not awful per say.

Hard to tell really. But from what I understand she had a big say in the overall production of the film so I'd say so. Whether or not that's true I don't know, likewise a lot of people involved not wanting their names in the credits, although one would lead to the other if folk were initially pleased with the final cut before it got tweaked.
