Full stop.

This always seems a strange hill to die on to me. When talking about the President of the Republic of Korea, you don't say 대한민국 대통령. You probably don't even call it the Republic of Korea.

You would?!
All those unconstitutional deportations. The raping of women in detention centres. The sheer cruelty of the conditions in those detention centres. The cutting of USaid to hundreds (if not millions) of people.
Iran doesn't need detention centers to rape women it is common in any type of jail. as well for the conditions

The Regime levels of supressing free speech and the interference of media through litigation and the FCC. The degradation of the agencies of accountability right from the CIA all the way down to weather reporting and FEMA.
Yeah, again no comperasion to Iran but i'm no fan of trump or his administration

Promising that the protestors in Iran were going to get support and that the USA was 'locked and loaded' so they perished. Conservative estimates 12,000 dead. What a wicked promise. What an abhorrent individual surrounded by out and out fascists like Miller intent government assisted demonisation who has stirred up rhetoric akin to the Nazi's in WW2.
Didn'thear the same words about Ukraine when Russia first invaded in 2014, and it was only after Ukraine bravely stood whilst the whole world assuymed it would fall they started to gain some support. The mythe of Russia being so powerfull we couldn't do anything about the was slowly being busted.

And abroad: the USA is totally complicit in the genocide in Gaza having directly funded it.75,000 dead.

Let's not talk about Epstein and his insidious cabal of paedophiles to which Trump is in the same septic tank of heinous crimes against women and girls whilst personally amassing iro $1.4bn during his first 15 months of Trump 2.0 through insider dealing and blatant corruption.

Are you sure?[/QUOTE]
Are you sure? I mean without Iran helping Hamas with the 7 October genocide the whole gaza war didn't happen, isreal would just still be intercepting the daily rockets attacks etc. Iran loved to play war games with them safely hundreds or thousands miles away, now they feel what it is to be hunted, and it seems hide and seek isn't one of their strong points.

PS It was the west that interfered with middle eastern countries and we are partly the architect of their entrenched position having been betrayed by the infidel on too many occasions.
What about the abandoned citizens of Afghanistan and the mess left in Iraq and Libya? What about the poor Kurds who were abandoned to their fait after the US used them and discarded them as they no served no more purpose to the US when Assad fell?

US foreign policy has always been highly questionable. Now it's downright vile.
there is indeed more then enough criticism on US policy sadly, but also part of a democratic process as it shoes the different approaches between parties.

Bear in mind that Donnie 2.0 has only been in power for 14 months. 14 months FFS!
What's the next 30 months got in store?
I hope and impeachment if he loses the midterms
Hopefully an lame duck and/or impeachment procedure if he loses the midterms

No, it just adds more people killed on top of the people the regime was killing. And makes any transition to a more decent regime that much more unlikely.
For now but if the regime is toppled you would assume it becomes better right?

And as I'ver noted previously, Afghanistan sets the example of how not to be defeated by even much more militarily powerful invaders, even without the preparation and strategically significant geographical reach that Iran has.

Trump's not going to get his hands on that oil, as far as I can see.
Bullshite if Trump didn't make that stupid deal designed to make Biden look stupid, Taliban wouldn't Rule Afghanistan, they would be holed up in the maintains still.

Currrent president of Ireland. Different person, different position.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_Ireland

It's a bit like referring to our Prime Minister as President, in the sense that it's wrong.

Yes, it is pronounced as written (in English) which helps a lot.

Calling him the Irish Chief seems consistent with the way other European leaders are treated e.g. Chancellor of Germany versus Bundeskanzler.

"Leader" seems better, because it invokes turf house dwelling clansmen to a lesser degree.
