Trump doesn't care that those who are most likely to end up "living in Hell" will be the people rather than the regime.

He either doesn't know or doesn't care that deliberately attacking and destroying a civilian infrastructure rather than military or political is a war crime. He knows he is immune from the possibility of war crime charges.

And what makes it even worse is that there seems to be no effective backlash against it in the US. Everyone seems to be waiting and hoping that the mid-terms will provide a way of stopping his worst excesses...but six months is a long way away and who knows what damage will be caused in the meantime.

That nanny (aka the CC Forum platform) rules some language here, but there are easy workarounds (such as changing the font colour for a letter, or àddïng an accent to a letter) that aren't too much faff. Other than than, nada.

A random thing that I learned this week. The US was deliberately created to have separation between church and state. Not being a Christian nation was specifically mentioned.
This changed in the 1950s during the Cold War, and here we are.
