Do you have anything interesting or useful to say about Trump in the "Donald Trump, Emperor of the World" thread?
Well I haven't been following his ballroom plans or his choices in model aeroplanes so apparently not.

Personally, I think his repeated endorsements of him portrayed as Christ is going to go down like a balloon full of shite with his supporters. This could lead to him being taken to the loony bin and then Vance will take over. In the meantime let's keep on topic eh?

Well the one you posted was fake so not really on topic either. Unless we're just posting any old shizz because it's anti-Trump. Oh hang on...
I could post on other threads but any mention of women's stuff outside the Dark Side thread gets me the response of 'Must you view everything through the lens of sex?'. Ho hum.

Fake as in Trump didn't retweet it? Fake as in CodySc didn't actually post it, or fake as in created by AI?

So you're now starting a campaign for the right to be off-topic? Just to remind you, Trump's attitude to women is that when you are famous you can grab them by the pussy. He has supported the greatest removal of women's rights in US history - and yet you'd prefer him to be re-elected / made God King Emperor of Gilead because Dems might be nice to trans people as well as letting women have terminations?

Nowhere have I said that.
My preferred outcome is that the Republicans stop being batsh*t and move back to a more mainstream position, and the Democrats stop being batsh*t and move back to a more mainstream position. I don't think 'being nice to trans people' (with all that entails under current Democrat self ID policy) should come at the expense of women and girls. How about the Democrats give women a viable alternative to voting for Trump/abstaining? Trump will be gone next election regardless but you expect women to vote Democrat knowing it will undermine their rights to single sex services and spaces. There's no other demographic you'd demand do that.

One does wonder how long even loyal officials can go on under these conditions. Trump blindsided even the Pentagon with his unilateral decision (post phone call with Putin) to withdraw troops from Germany.

"President Donald Trump’s announcement Wednesday that he was considering pulling some U.S. troops out of Germany stunned defense officials, who scrambled to figure out if the president was serious about following through on his threats this time.

Trump’s social media post was the first that many had heard of a potential new push to take hundreds, if not thousands, of American troops out of Germany, according to three defense officials. It strongly contrasts a recently concluded monthslong review of the Pentagon’s global troop footprint, which did not call for major pullbacks from Europe."

It's worth reading the whole thing. One can only conclude that he's both nuts and doing the bidding of Putin. Occam's Razor and all that.

Coming within days of a phone call with Putin is just coincidence. Obviously.

Joking aside, I think the most simplistic/basest reading of his actions are probably the most likely to be true, so anything that enriches him, anything that fluffs his ego, anything that harms people who he feels have insulted him or stood in his way, is/are probably going to be the correct one. I don't think he could even put chess pieces out correctly on a board, let alone remember how they move in 2D.

Leopards & faces. Dairy farmer (in the family since the Civil War) voted for Trump because Trump promised stuff, despite not delivering on the promises in the 2016 election. Now so stuffed by tariffs and rising prices that they are selling everything.

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/05/03/...unlocked_article_code=1.flA.ofFQ.P7KtZdxcQpSN

"Brad had supported Donald Trump in 2024 in part because Trump promised to change all that by becoming “the most pro-farmer president you’ve ever had.” Instead, new tariffs had cut into Brad’s potential export market and the emerging war in Iran had sent gas and fertilizer prices surging by as much as 70 percent. He was losing thousands of dollars each month and falling behind on his feed bill, until he made the call he’d been dreading his whole career. He dialed up an auction house to arrange the Watson family’s final dairy sale last month. “Complete Jersey herd dispersal,” one ad read. “Farm is going dry. Every cow must go.”

And you can bet your bottom dollar that Farage's 'promises' would be equally as fraudulent as Trump's.

He gave the figure of seven thousand to be withdrawn. Citing his cutting of links with NATO as the reason.
