SpaceX IPO is next couple of weeks isn't it?
Who in their right mind would buy into it?
They're like the worst of the dotcom companies back in 2000.
Investing in it is madness. Safer visiting Las Vegas casinos and watch the ball spin ...
SpaceX not yet made a profit and still projected to stay in loss. Grok is one of the lower regarded AIs, in part due to constraints imposed by Musk's political views re: what and how it presents information). But all AI is currently looking a bigger risk than it was 12 months ago with increasing public backlash, energy and environmental considerations and increasing resistance to data centres, etc.

Trump is continually wishing he is someone else. Perhaps in that deranged corrupted brain of his, there is a semblance of guilt. Self awareness perhaps.
Perhaps the awareness that he is totally incompetent and maybe given the catalyst of failing to reach agreement on Iran, pushbacks etc, he's posting images of people he would rather be. Arnold Palmer was such a beautiful man.
I just wonder if there are people in the backroom helping him grift because there's no way he has the nous. A high end conspiracy to keep him sweet and... (another spanner in these works) are they the corporate bankers, financiers etc implicated with Epstein?

Yep. We (Space X) were supposed to be on Mars this year.
Delays, delays, delays. Musk has capitalised on the anticipation of something great in the future but' its all getting a bit stale and predictable. Not only that, he's failed to deliver on that. The roadster Mk2 has yet to materialise. The cyber truck has been a flop. Models s's and y's are no longer VFM. There's nothing in the offing of new Tesla models in the face of growing competition and a widening gap in reliability and affordability. Plus, an end to govt, grants and subsidies for renewable/green stuff.
When are the shareholders going to realise the share price is over inflated due to paper promises? I guess they crossing fingers somethings will materialise or else their stock might crash.

I think Musk has moved on. He's cashing in on AI/data centres. Although Grok and the self drive software isn't yielding what it's supposed to and he's facing criminal charges by the French which will extend to all EU and affiliated countries should there be a warrant... Oh, I hope.

Re: Getting to Mars. The issue is that Musk is just a Science Fiction fanboy. He loves to think of himself as a "techy" but he isn't and he's a long way away from being one.

Getting to Mars means overcoming a vast number of challenges. Musk is only even dreaming about the rocket aspect, completely failing to even recognise the vast number of other issues let alone start to solve any. He's so far off he's not even thinking about the obvious challenges.

Trump announces $700m coal investment using wartime powers

So today we're taking historic action to bring down the price of energy and the cost of living for all Americans with the power of clean, beautiful coal,"

That's going to illicit an instant drop in fuel prices.... erm.
Are they going to run cars on coal tar gas?

You'll have lost Trũmp now. He's seen coal being shovelled into trains to make them go so why not cars as well.

I'm suspicious about these sort of things. Reality more likely to be that massive contracts will be awarded to Ivanka Corp. to scope and evaluate plans, then contracts to the well knows coal industry "specialists" Eric Corp. for "Consultancy Services" and feasibility study contracts to "Jarred corp.", etc.

Any investment requirements from "Markets" will be harder as and investors with any working brain cells will realise returns on such investments are long term and that coal is not a long term prospect. Trūmp's term is of limited duration after which it's quite likely US will return to a more sensible stance of the climate.
