He openly said he had PTSD but had recovered since. He hasn't tries to cover up his sins all through the campaign.
Given that at the core of every hate group, there is a veteran (and they are mostly comprised of vets), this is refreshing.
He packs punch and has a deep voice where other Dems (Schumer, Jeffries?!) are these mealy mouthed lightweights who express their concerns in a way that doesn't resonate.
Listen to his speech and make up your own mind. There's a bit of slightly cringy stuff in the beginning and it smacks of someone who thinks they are in a presidential election but it doesn't lack any impact:

Certainly won't miss Susan Collins if he unseats her, and if he upsets the complacency of the mainstream democrats and their across-their-aisle bullshït. I hope he sticks with what he says here. if I had the stomach, I'd go back and listen to Fetterman when he was running for Senate, and find out what persona he projected way back then...​
