Meanwhile in Pennsylvania, there's been a 5th measles death, and children are being born with it. But the CDC have only acknowledged two deaths. As Trump said about covid, if you don't report it, the numbers go down to zero. It won't be log before polio takes off too... I wonder where they are going to hide the iron lungs?

James O’Brien’s recent podcast with Eric Idle was a lovely listen. He has spent decades updating a farm house in the south of France. I wonder what Trump gas said?
He’s had an incredible life, his dad was killed in the war, his mum had a breakdown so he was sent to a boarding school.
He hasn’t fallen foul of what ever has infected Cleese.

If you look at their comedy writing and performing, it's evident that you have two very different personalities. Idle never uses or dwells on bad things - he always tends towards the positive and uplifting and uses clever word play whereas Cleese has always tended toward the comically angry and frustrated.
Know what I mean? Nudge nudge, wink wink.

I do feel a bit sorry for Idle. Apparently he's keen to expand the commercial opportunities of the Monty Python brand. The remaining members, who all have other streams of income that he doesn't (apart from Spamalot), don't want to.

Yes, he did have a furious rant about Terry Gilliam's daughter who is apparently managing the Monty Python intellectual property. He wanted to make a film version of Spamalot but for some reason she vetoed it.
