How can you Mock the wild life park incident if it’s not fake news and get away with it as a President?

Friday:

Indra's subsidiary Hispasat and German manufacturer OHB have secured major contracts as part of the European Union's €15.6 billion IRIS² secure satellite communications program.

X was cut out of the opportunity - banned.

I wonder if holding back so Trūmp does not know what they might pursue could avoid him pardoning himself.

Many with far more US legal knowledge than myself have said that a President cannot pardon himself but can't see that stopping Trümp. But for Trūmp to pardon himself "for anything he may have done at any time, ever" would be far more contestable than a pardon for something specific (though being specific would point the world to something he has identified that he did).

Maybe Democrats would achieve more waiting until Trümp has left office and they also have the Supreme Court more balanced and then to pursue criminal offences.

I suspect waiting for him to be out of office and preparing what cases can be brought against him then would be better use of time, meanwhile tying him up in Congress in endless hearings to expose the fraud on the American public.

John Bolton, former national security advisor in Trump's 1st administration:
"Trump is a useful idiot who really doesn't understand what's at stake in Ukraine...".
"...in the last few weeks, he's been focused not on geo politics but on domestic issues... he's in deep trouble"
"The 300,000 tons of diesel make up for 60% of one day [US consumption].."
"...for Trump it's announcing the deal, it's not necessarily the results of it..."
"...people understand [will the deal help him?] that there's nothing substantive in a lot of what he's saying here..."
"...the real problem is, Trump sees international relations as essentially entirely embedded in the personal relationships with their leaders..."
...and about Europe where people are saying "..it's over, we cannot regard US as our ally...":
JB "People who say that in Europe is giving Donald Trump exactly what he wants. That is the kind of talk that gives him the excuse to say 'well, the Europeans don't want us, we'll just withdraw from NATO..."
He goes on to say that there is overwhelming support for Ukraine in the GOP but Trump has intimidated so many but after November 3rd, he expects to see a change in Republicans comig forward in their support.

"The ground is breaking up underneath his feet.."

Worth a listen, it's barely 9 minutes.

It is painful to agree with someone like Bolton.

Interesting that he obviously wants bad midterm results for Republicans to jolt them into dumping Trumping, and to return to supporting Ukraine, as he believes may Republicans want to. He seems to be taking that almost as a given.

I noticed that and well, his sentiments can only be interpreted as someone who cares for his nation.

That was worth the listen, thanks, even given (or maybe because of) his history of being a war-hungry Republican hawk.

Report that highlighted Trúmp's attitude to the public

Trump says DC golf course ‘restoration’ to start despite judge’s order to pause plans

...
While it has been open to Washingtonians of all income levels, opponents of Trump’s plans to turn it into a high-end course have argued it will alter the character of the space and make it less affordable to people.

Democracy Forward, which is representing the plaintiffs challenging his renovation plans for the golf course, responded to Trump by saying that the course is part of a national park and recreation facility that is meant for everyone to enjoy.
Lots of the usual stuff about Trůmp ignoring Courts orders, etc. But to me that he seems to relish taking something that is used by locals "of all income levels" and turn it into some excluside high end (and thus expensive) place again illustrates his complete sociopathy.
