Anyway, Trump's just blown my mind. "I've kept every single promise I made except far more. I've actually kept far more promises than I made."

Grammatically correct, I'll give him that.

As is "It's almost as tall as two Empire State Buildings laid on its side", though normal people don't usually say how long a pool is by referencing famous tall buildings lying on their sides, and saying it's as tall as that.

Slight downhill specialist
This is a gloriously badly-timed take. 24 hours later, Haley Stevens, a Democratic Congresswoman for Michigan, publicly endorsed Abdul El Sayed's Republican opponent for the Senatorial seat for Michigan, in what appears to be a pro-Israel fit of pique. So egregious is her mutiny, it's motivated both Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi into endorsing AES, something they'd previously 'omitted' to do.

It's back fired big time. She fumbled around on CNN. Sudden turn around and full of bullsh*t after saying in October "Mike Rogers is a candidate that will just rubber stamp Trump".

Ms Stevens don't forget shouted to a reporter on Capitol Hill "I am a Zionist Democrat".

The full background is here:

Representative Haley Stevens (D-MI) famously declared "I am a Zionist Democrat" during interviews following a high-stakes political shift. [1, 2]
The phrase has come to define her political persona amidst a profound intra-party battle over U.S. policy toward Israel. The timeline of events surrounding this statement includes: [1]
    • The Primary Defeat: In August 2026, Stevens lost a bitter and historic $80 million Michigan Democratic Senate primary to Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, an outspoken critic of Israel who ran a campaign sharply questioning U.S. foreign aid. [1, 2, 3]
    • The Declaration: Immediately after her primary loss, Stevens explicitly stated on CNN and other outlets: "I am a Zionist Democrat in Michigan… I’m still very much in this party." She initially urged her supporters concerned about El-Sayed's positions to make their own "personal and private decision" at the ballot box. [1, 2]
    • The Broken Endorsement: Though she originally offered a standard concession endorsement to El-Sayed, tensions boiled over regarding El-Sayed’s debate responses on Iran and Israel. Just days before the November 2026 midterms, Stevens stunned party officials by pulling her support from El-Sayed and endorsing his Republican opponent, former Representative Mike Rogers. [1, 2, 3]
    • The Backlash: Her decision to back a Donald Trump-endorsed Republican prompted immediate fury from leadership within her own party, with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer calling the move a "despicable betrayal" and the Michigan Democratic Party chair declaring she was no longer a member of the party.

During the CNN interview, she tried to claim that she was "just helping the Democrats..." ?!
