It only stays there for one hour on here. Uneditable afterwards.

On the mothership, posts are editable up to one year, I think. But not one minute more.

As with the mothership, you get 5 mins from posting to correct mistakes without it being marked as 'edited', so it's worth quicky proofreading your own posts. Annoying when you miss something and only realise too late.
