You'd have to ask a Labour supporter who wants the party stand up for itself.

Rayner would be my preference of the pair I suppose, if only because the number of times the picture of Milliband eating a bacon roll would get dredged up would be very tedious, very quickly.

We would find out how chaos under miliband compares to all this

Of course. If someone in NCAP says that this government is right wing then it will be better received by the audience here than if the same view was expressed in my local pub where it would be met with incredulity. Playing to the gallery is easy and NCAP no more reflects wider public opinion than does my boozer. Its important to remember that when working out which ideas have merit and why it's a very good thing to have the odd dissenting voice.

Oftentimes the dissenting voice is just bollocks though. Important to remember that too.

I know magaworld is post truth but repeating some garbage you read in the Telegraph doesn't make it true.

Putting up taxes massively?
Dishing out borrowed money to pay for public sector wage rises without any reforms or increases in productivity?
Crippling the private sector by making it more expensive to employ people?

It's usual to at least label the axes* on a graph.
* not Axis - nothing to do with the Nazis, so don't get too excited.

Do you want to back some of that up?
Here's a start. Ok slightly out of date, but you get the gist.

You might want to look also at income inequality, the NHS, pensions etc.

You asked me for evidence that Starmer was left wing so I gave some examples. We can argue about who is paying the extra taxes but I don't think there's any debate that they are at their highest levels since the war.
