What, not even four bears?

Nor Three bears, and their temperature contentious porridge.

Not even Drop Bears.

Arctic” comes from the Greek arktos, which literally means bear. Why? Because the constellation Ursa Major (the Great Bear) dominates the northern sky. So the Arctic is the “land under the bear.” 🐻

... According to the Internet anyway.

You shouldn't have added the bolded bit, I was reading you post, and, thinking "what a clever fellow, knowing all this scholarly stuff" 😂

The logical answer is Trump has nothing to do with Greenland and he shouldn't get it' regardless off the relationship between the Danes and Greenlanders. The inconvenient reality is however who is going to stop him? and at what price? Surely in numbers etc. remaining Nato countries can match the US but thereis more at play here, like all the weapons the us can remotely switch off, training and other things

Congress? Would Trűmp declaring war on Europe and NATO be a step too far for even a Republican dominated house? Even they would be smart enough to realise all Trūmp's given reasons are untrue and that they can all be achieves without even negotiating further treaties.

Sounds like the meeting between Danish & Greenland premiers and the Trump admin went as badly as would be expected.

Meanwhile Swedish forces are en route to Greenland already.

Totes normal.

“I have yet to hear from this administration a single thing we need from Greenland that this sovereign people is not ready and willing to grant us.

"Unless and until the president can demonstrate otherwise, then the proposition at hand today is pretty straightforward: incinerating the hard-won trust of loyal allies in exchange for no meaningful change across the Arctic."

Senator Mitch McConnell today.….. like a lonely voice crying in the wilderness.

A bit rich for the turtle who enabled Trump to get where he is to be voicing doubts. The whole lot is complicit in this fiasco, putting a senile malignant narcissist with the IQ of his shoe size in charge of the US, and stacking the Supreme Court to give Trump immunity from prosecution, no matter how serious the crimes.

Yeah nice and all but over the past year i don't think i'm far off if i say Trump has made over 90% off his decisions by executive order bypassing congress, and many US laws in the process let alone international laws.

Indeed, the Senate seems to have as much clout as a parish council these days. All their own doing.

You don't know if he voted from Trump a majority of republicans did yes, but you don;t know if that includes him.
Second the way how Trump gets away with things is a loophole(s) in the US governing system, and a result of both parties being unwilling to fix it because it didn't serve party interest.
