Sorry I’ve run out of ideas.
He can have this if he wants. No sure what it is, I seem to have lost my cycling proficiency badge and the only others I can find are somewhat racist jam things.

Mad Doug Biker

Just plodding along as always.
Mark Rutte was handing out the hors d'oeuvres and said Donnie could help himself to as many pieces as he wished.

And the Golden Boot goes to Melania 😆

So, we have gone from complete ownership, to framework of a deal, to framework of a future deal.
Well done everyone. 👏👏👏

"Nato says Greenland sovereignty not discussed in US meeting after Trump claims 'framework of future deal'"

Mette Frederiksen's statement in full:

"Security in the Arctic is a matter for the entire Nato alliance. Therefore, it is good and natural that it is also discussed between Nato's Secretary General and the President of the United States. The Kingdom of Denmark has long worked for Nato to increase its engagement in the Arctic.

"The Danish government has coordinated our efforts with the Greenlandic government Naalakkersuisut throughout the process. We have been in close dialogue with Nato and I have spoken to Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte on an ongoing basis, including both before and after his meeting with President Trump in Davos.

"Nato is fully aware of the position of the Kingdom of Denmark. We can negotiate on everything political; security, investments, economy. But we cannot negotiate on our sovereignty. I have been informed that this has not been the case either.

"And of course, only Denmark and Greenland themselves can make decisions on issues concerning Denmark and Greenland.

The Kingdom of Denmark wishes to continue to engage in a constructive dialogue with allies on how we can strengthen security in the Arctic, including the US's Golden Dome, provided that this is done with respect for our territorial integrity."

Which to me basically reads: this has been an ongoing discussion for a while, now Donnie's got in on the act because he read about minerals, we have to accommodate him, so we are.

Yet everyone flips out. Another analyst said, it's classic Trump negotiating tactic, ask for 10 times what you want and agree on what you really want.

Everyone is then happy. Denmark/EU think they've won, Trump gets what he wants-all good.

Apart from the hysterical bunch

The trust issue is being raised more and more now. No one trusts the USA and Trump.
His bully boy negotiating tactic simply doesn't work, and turns countries away from the US.
China are laughing their heads off at his stupidity as their sphere of influence grows.

You can never trust another country. They are in it for themselves.

Its Trump is far more overt about what he wants. Hes not interested in global mutual trade. He wants all the best deals for USA.

He is securing US dominance over the West. Who can blame them

Course you can trust another country, you literally have to at times.
If the US wants to cut itself off from the rest of the world, then it will need to become 100% self sufficient. That isn't going to happen.
you therefore have to have an interest in global mutual trade - it's plain stupid to think otherwise.
He isn't securing US dominance over the west, he is destroying any trust and making the rest of the west look elsewhere, to the significant long term detriment of the US.

EU is already in bed with Russia and China. They buy energy from Russia, financing their war against Ukraine. China supplies endless technological equipment, transport to most of the world.

Once China has literally crushed business in the EU. Who do you think is going complain.

USA is trying to secure as much as possible for themselves
