The world can't afford both Hormuz and the Red Sea to be closed.
The Saudis are willing to try to stop the Houti's, but have asked for some help.

Could the blowfish do anything?

Unless you can come up with an alternative for plastic, then we will be reliant on oil until there is no more on the planet.

You can make plastic out of thin air, depending on how hard you want to try. Or, if you want it less badly, plants.
