Hopefully no bail (given he'll spend his time on bail repeating his alledged offence(s).

Plus, give him bail and we'll have to endure hearing endlessly about how he's the victim, his freedom of speech, etc.

Joking aside, I can be very patient, but the political slide into lunacy, effectively from 2016 in the UK, has now taken up quite a chunk of my time on this planet, and I'd quite like to see someone with a huge majority who's not a loon actually make a difference rather than fritter away time avoiding the central issues.

Burnham has somewhat made a rod for his own back by having come out all guns blazing since Makerfield was announced and after his victory there, but then more recently suddenly becoming mute and invisible when anything vaguely contentious comes up.

It actually often bothers me when top level government ministers comment on individual cases. For one thing it risks circumventing a machinery beneath them, and it also risks politically being on the wrong side of the eventual outcome. It also makes individual twäts more important than they actually are.

In many ways just daft but highlights the stupidity of these masked "protestors" and how little they bother or understand what they are actually protesting about or trying to achieve
