Very early stages, but seems to be a major terrorist incident with some sort of bomb vest which hasn’t gone off.
Suspect seems to have been shot by police.
No news on the condition of victims.
Let’s hope calm heads prevail.

This, of course, works both ways. I've been surprised how few of this kind of attack there has been. Sure, there has been a rise in antisemitic crimes but little at the terrorist level.

Interesting that Police say the know the ID of the perpetrator, but, will not release details for "local safety reasons". I would guess that from mainstream TV coverage most local people will be able to identify the location and house(s) which are being searched, only a matter of time before it leaks on Social Media. Is it not better for the Police to retain control?

This is what BBC is reporting He’s been a British citizen for 19 years.

“It is understood that Al-Shamie was a British national of Syrian descent, who entered the UK as a very young child, and was granted British citizenship in 2006 as a minor.”

Daily Mail and Telegraph should be called out this morning for particularly poor coverage on the front page.

He has no evidence to support that head line, but it gets printed as fact.

I’d like to hear how woke police and lefty politicians have caused it, because as far as we know so far the guy was totally unknown to the authorities.
