Apparently all those checks put in place to help the banks pay for their own mistakes is no longer needed.
Ironically today's BBC news also reports Santander being fined £108m for failing to prevent money laundering.
So when will we taxpayers have to rescue the banks again?
I'm going for 1st September 2031.
