It looks like "guests" that have been identified as bot crawlers appear under "robots" whereas those that haven't such as AI bots stay under "guest". Seems to be a common question of XenForo forum software.

My uneducated presumption is that it's a lack of function of the forum software of being able to identify the crawlers and that they seem to be permanently 'viewing' the forum that inflates the numbers so wildly.
