To me top graph looks like a phone currency conversion app (screen shot), not anything specific at Brexit., so is "context" relevant?

Apologies, yes, the use of it was shit in context... he picked the start point carefully. Or if it was just "Oh, it's ten years!", the previous context still matters. Not that I'm saying the Brexit vote didn't have an effect on the exchange rate, but the context still matters, particularly when the Y axis zooms in on the data range, so exaggerating fluctuations/changes.

This is for the US. Even if this isn't a shït graph per se (though I'm sceptical of the smooth/continuous lines), the idea that immigration has tailed off as a concern doesn't seem to be borne out by people voting racists into office. I suspect that this graph is fiction because of the way it's harvested 'data'.
