I've succumbed and put a very deserving person on ignore. It's not someone generally accused of being a troll. Like the best of the species, they're capable of rational camouflage. Scratch the surface and it's troll all the way down.

I've done a "like" but then reflected that it would be ironic if I was that person now on "ignore" ...

I've got two or three yardsticks which make the decision easier, and the forum more pleasant to use. There's enough shit going on in the world as it is, without having to wade through the same here.

I don't really like putting anybody on ignore, even (or should I say especially) people I seldom agree with, but am willing to make an exception for someone who doesn't post in good faith.

I saw one earlier (which I wish I hadn't) and was in the middle of replying, when it suddenly occurred to me that it was a trap, so I deleted my message and just carried on.

I will admit to finding the Terminator picture funny in the 'X' thread, but that is all. 😊

It's only when that happens, or a load of threads suddenly disappear from my feed, or there are posts which make no sense in context, that I know a lot of flag spaffing is going on.
