The initial letter was so bonkers I can almost believe it was notes made on her phone for later. Still, the actual thing looks awful, especially, as Winjim says, from a would be Home Secretary. Imagine reading that and thinking your history was being given the same status as being ragged at school for being ginger.

That may well be so, and I know she has had personal issues to deal with, but it was still a dumb thing to say and my point still stands.

I was replying to @Rusty Nails comment about not being as sharp as she used to be. I think that's true for the reason I gave. What she said was pretty bloody awful. As I'd said before, I'm astounded she would say such a thing.
