Maybe not a "fail" but an aspect that in some ways helped me understand more about the social impact of AI ChatBots.

Probably everybody seem and familiar with it but in case not, Tilley Norwood sort of taking on Taylor Swift but to me very tongue in cheek but she has attracted death threats from some based in California (to which "she" just responded on Social Media pushing back and poking more fun at them.

It sort of started when she "appeared" (briefly) crying on Graham Norton's couch

Not my taste in music but I do think there are some clever bits poking fun at the industry.
And maybe worrying is I have shown it to some who didn't realise it was entirely AI (voice, video, everything) including a professional actor.

I don't really understand that. Surely the humanities students are using AI as well?

I suspect it depends on the institution (and how much they are policing inappropriate use of AI) and what's being practised in individual subjects.

I suspect that if the institutions are focused on limiting use of AI in problem-solving that the focus will return to hand-written finals without IT. Meanwhile the AI companies will be doing everything they can to get institutions and students dependent on their subscritopn systems, as tobacco companies still try to get populations hooked.

If you take a subject like maths which is almost 100% pen and paper exam based, I find it hard to believe that it is being corrupted more by AI than humanities.

What I can believe is that a finance chap has offered it as a pub opinion to look trendy.

Both our suppositories will remain just that, as I can't quiz the New York financier featured.

Quite. It's not much of a source is it? Possibly less reliable than AI even.

Interesting. It looks like Google interprets 1K as being 1 Kelvin and thus launches into calculations using the Boltzmann constant. I'd say there must be some AI there.

I thought it was something along those lines. Lacking the intelligence to recognise "£1k" as a thing. Durr!
