Public opinion has also turned decidedly sour on the AI project that has called these datacenters into being. Some 73% of Americans think the costs of datacenters outweigh the benefits, according to a survey by the Marquette University Law School. The same survey found that 70% of Americans think that AI is bad for society.
Americans were not always this down on the tech. In 2021, only 37% declared themselves more concerned than excited about the technology, according to surveys by the Pew Research Center. But the share has climbed to 52%. Even 55% of young adults – usually the most excited cohort – have soured on it.

Why not? In an arts course it makes sense. Outside of the UK it is considered a serious form of art, look up Persepolis and Maus for instance.

There's no mention of humour here.
Comics is a medium used to express ideas with images, often combined with text or other visual information. It typically takes the form of a sequence of panels of images. Textual devices such as speech balloons, captions, and onomatopoeia can indicate dialogue, narration, sound effects, or other information. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comics
