Of those Gelly positives there are 5 that I wouldn't be interested in, and one that dissuades me from buying at all. Each to their own.
That's fair enough, but the point is that for significantly less money, the Chinese import offers significantly more functionality.
I should also mention that range is very similar between the two* as the Geely has been designed properly as an electric car where the ID4 is burdened with unnecessary weight and some unoptimised aero.
*real world range - VW claim the WLTP range for the ID4 pro is 330 miles. It's nowhere near that. It's about 250 miles. Geely are also bringing out the ultra which has 280 miles real world instead of 250. Geely are getting the same range out of a battery that is 20kwh smaller.
