I think this is being reported a little harshly, because I understand that the person in question is doing quite a lot of outreach work to try to counter radicalisation. However, letting him stand as a candidate is still a terrible judgement call.
This is true. He has publicly expressed his apologies for his former antisemitism.
That said, he's still a staunch supporter of the Tories and Reform, and has strong right wing fascist views so...
