Does not appear to have done anything career wise, except politics

Although this feels very much like desperation from Mahmood to keep her job under Burnham, I'd like to think that he's got enough sense to see this for the Reformy populist tosh that it obviously is. If he's got any sense, it should make it easier for him to justify moving her elsewhere, or just sacking her.

My Bluesky feed making generally approving noises about Burnham's policy speech. He's coined the phrase "No.10 North" for his plan to move some government functions out of London.

Well a Guardian piece discussed his playing in a football team with various other 'New Labour' alumni and suggested he was a skillful forward with an eye for goal. Having seen his footballing ability first hand, I can confirm this analysis is greatly exaggerated 😂

Well a Guardian piece discussed his playing in a football team with various other 'New Labour' alumni and suggested he was a skillful forward with an eye for goal. Having seen his footballing ability first hand, I can confirm this analysis is greatly exaggerated 😂

On the plus side, he says he's bought some new running shorts.
