Climate Crisis: Are we doing enough?

Back to my fascinating discussion about tree planting that no one else was interested in, it seems that if I own some land, I can have some trees planted and maintained for free. That would then give me a warm rosy feeling of owning my own forest and doing my bit, but the challenge is that warm and rosy doesn't generate income.

The thread has the Trump troll, Israel troll and Patent troll all posting. It's confused me.

I might need to add another.

Some people would be pleased with this. Or are you all about the money?

p.s. I'm only interested in replies from my circle Jerk mates. Even though this is a public thread about the Climate Crisis (started back in 2021)
Fair enough.

Yes, that's right, that's what a straw man argument is. Well done.

Google tells me you are right. Thank you.

Professionally I use "straw man" in a different way, to mean arguing on behalf of someone else who wishes to remain anonymous.

Anyhow, since you don't agree with Just Stop Oil superglueing their privates to a road, are you a climate change denier?

Interesting that the Greeks didn't really identify it as a thing, nor did it get a Latin name.

It's known as carbon offsetting.
