This feels like one of those political surveys after which someone will scream "No respondents opposed the plan".

Also shows the problems of trolling and ignoring.

I think starting a thread does breach trolling etiquette though. If that's allowed, it is too easy to wind people up. Shooting sitting ducks and all that.

Apologies due for missing the option, now amended. Votes can also be changed, if someone was forced into an other option.

Oops, sorry @AndyRM. Though this one has more options, which I think makes it more useful for gauging where we are.

Related to ID cards (and intrusiveness), I was surprised that during the pandemic people switched on location and bluetooth on the NHS app to tell you if you'd been near someone with covid. Not only on the intrusiveness of actually tracking you in real time, but then the need to isolate if you had been near someone with covid (and the govt knew you had, even if the other side of a window).

Ahem, wrong Andy.

The joys of the ignore function

My vote was fairly straightforward as I always carry my drivers licence on me.
Even when cycling as a means of ID should the worst happen.
