The direction of travel with the Greens must be so frustrating for those who joined to support green issues. You have to feel sorry for those members who slogged away for years to make the party electable and to bring environmentalism to the forefront of politics. They expelled long standing members for dissenting on the trans policy, and they'll start doing the same on the zionism policy. All the work that turned a fringe party into a mainstream one is going to be undone by a relatively small number of activists.

Edit: I should point out that the Scottish Greens and the Green Party UK are different parties.

I take it none of our north of the border CC members are up for a polycule?

I think it's sad that a party with a perfectly good and clear raison d'etre seems to have become the party of choice for those people who find the Labour Party too right wing for them and CBA to go through the hard work of setting up their own party (a la Your Party UK), or the futility in electoral terms of joining the Socialist Worker Party, and in the process sideline that raison d'etre.
